What Happens If the Performer Cancels?

Cancellations by performers are rare, but if one happens, you are protected. This guide explains what to expect.

You're refunded

If a performer cancels a confirmed booking, you're refunded in full — everything you paid, including the ARRIVE service fee. Your payment was held securely by ARRIVE and is returned to you, so you are never out of pocket because a performer cancelled. See How ARRIVE keeps payments secure.

If the performer doesn't show up

If the performer doesn't arrive for a confirmed booking, contact ARRIVE Support as soon as you can, and within 72 hours after the event, while ARRIVE is still holding your payment. We hold the payment while we look into it and check with the performer. Once we've confirmed the booking didn't go ahead, you're refunded in full, including the ARRIVE service fee, to your original payment method.

Finding a replacement

You can request a quote again to book another performer for your date — see How to request a quote. The sooner you start, the more options you will have.

We're here to help

If a performer cancels close to your event or you need help finding a replacement, contact ARRIVE Support — because your booking is on ARRIVE, we can step in and help make it right.
