Getting your organization verified

4 min read Updated September 27, 2026Last reviewed October 12, 2026

Before an organization can browse performers, publish opportunities or book, ARRIVE confirms that it is a real business. That check is verification, and it happens once.

The reason is the performers on the other side of the marketplace. Your opportunities reach real people who are asked to commit their time to your event, so ARRIVE confirms who is posting before that starts.

What you can do before you're verified

An unverified organization can still sign in and set up. The workspace is limited to three areas:

  • Get verified — the landing page you're sent to from anywhere else.
  • Organization profile — your organization's details, departments and the verification request itself.
  • Settings, including Settings → Billing.

Everything else in the sidebar is hidden, and the Create menu in the header disappears entirely, because every one of its entries points at a locked page. Performer results are also excluded from workspace search until you're verified. In the product's own words: "To keep your organization and its members safe, ARRIVE verifies every organization before it can browse performers, publish opportunities, or book."

Requesting verification

Go to Organization profile. Beside the organization name there is a Verification chip with a Get verified button; the "Request verification" buttons on the pending page and in the top banner open the same form directly.

The form asks for:

  • Legal or trading name — required.
  • Business contact email — required, and it must be a valid address.
  • Website — optional.
  • Contact name and contact phone — optional.
  • Anything else — optional free text, up to 1,000 characters.

You need the Organization Profile · Edit permission to submit it. A member without that permission sees the Verification chip as a plain "Not verified" label with no button.

An organization can never verify itself. The request is stored as pending and only an ARRIVE reviewer can approve it — the underlying record is writable by your organization only as a new pending request, never as an approval. Submitting again while a request is already open is refused: "A verification request is already pending review."

The three states

Pending review. After you submit: "We're confirming your organization's details. You'll get full access — including browsing performers, publishing opportunities, and booking — as soon as it's approved." The request button is hidden while a request is open, because there is nothing to do. On the profile the chip reads Pending review; on the billing page, "You can subscribe once ARRIVE verifies your organization. Setup stays available meanwhile."

Verified. The chip turns into a green Verified badge, the full sidebar appears, and the workspace stops redirecting you.

Declined. "Your last verification request wasn't approved. Update your details and resubmit to unlock your organization." If the reviewer left a note, it is shown to you — on the billing page it appears under a Reason heading. The button becomes Update & resubmit, and it opens the same form. There is no limit on resubmitting; correct what was wrong and send it again.

If you have never submitted a request, you are not "under review" — you'll see Get verified to continue with a request button, deliberately, so nobody waits on a review that was never asked for.

We do not publish a review turnaround. The pending screen says only that it "usually doesn't take long".

Verification and your plan are two different things

Verification and a subscription are separate, and only verification is needed to use the marketplace.

  • Verification unlocks the workspace and the marketplace: browsing performers, publishing opportunities, booking and messaging performers are free — ARRIVE never charges an organization to take part in the marketplace.
  • A Pro subscription adds ARRIVE AI.

A verified organization with no plan can publish opportunities, book and message performers straight away — it sees "You're verified — start booking". You cannot subscribe before being verified — checkout refuses with "Your organization must be verified before you can subscribe." The order is always verify, then subscribe to Pro if you want ARRIVE AI.

See Plans and billing for what a plan costs and how to start one.

What this does not do yet

Verification is one decision about your organization, not a per-location or per-user check, and there is no self-service appeal beyond resubmitting the form. There is no status page or estimated completion date, and the workspace will not tell you who reviewed your request.
