Keeping your conversations, agreements, and payments on ARRIVE is the best way to protect yourself. This guide explains why, and how ARRIVE helps.
Why stay on ARRIVE
When you communicate and book through ARRIVE:
- Your payment is protected — the client pays up front, funds are held securely, and you are paid after the event.
- Your agreement is on the record, so the details are clear if a question comes up.
- ARRIVE Support can step in if something goes wrong — which is only possible when the booking is on-platform.
If you take a booking off-platform, you give up all of that protection.
Responding to clients
Reply to client messages promptly through ARRIVE messaging — fast, professional replies win more bookings. Confirm the details (date, location, set length, and any special requests) in the message thread so everything is documented.
Keep contact details on-platform
Do not share or ask for phone numbers, emails, social handles, or off-platform payment details in messages. To protect both sides, ARRIVE automatically detects and hides off-platform contact information in messages, and repeated attempts are reviewed by our team. Sharing contact details off-platform is against ARRIVE's policies and removes your protection.
If there's a problem
If a booking goes wrong or a client behaves inappropriately, contact ARRIVE Support. Because your booking and messages are on ARRIVE, we can help resolve it. See also the Performer Code of Conduct.
