Payment Terms

Version 1.11
Effective October 2026
Maintained by ARRIVE Legal Team

The following terms (these “Payment Terms”) govern payments you make or receive through www.arrivebooking.com (the “Site”), operated by Landing Media Inc.

Landing Media Inc. and its ARRIVE Booking Agency business are collectively referred to here as “ARRIVE,” “we,” or “us.”

Please read these Payment Terms carefully before making or receiving payments through the Site. By making or receiving payments through the Site, you accept and agree, on behalf of yourself or on behalf of your employer or any other entity (if applicable), to be bound and abide by these Payment Terms. These Terms are supplemental to ARRIVE’s General Terms of Service and ARRIVE Community Guidelines, as applicable (collectively, the “Terms of Service”).

1. Key Terms

Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the respective meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.

  • Order / Gig: a booking of a Performer's service made on ARRIVE.
  • Payment Services Provider(s): are service providers that provide payment services to Clients and Performers in connection with the ARRIVE platform, including with respect to collection of funds from Clients in connection with purchases, remittance and payout of funds to Performers, and the holding of funds until they are released to Performers or refunded to Clients.
  • Revenue: The money Performers earn from completed Orders, which are paid out to the Performer's connected Stripe account, subject to these Terms.

2. Receiving Payments

2.1 General

  • For each booking you complete, you receive the booking amount less ARRIVE's commission for your membership plan, as published on the Pricing page and shown on the booking.
  • ARRIVE accredits Performers once an Order is completed.
  • If an Order is canceled, any refund is made to the Client’s original payment method, in the amount set by the Cancellation Policy.
  • Performers are responsible for paying any applicable taxes, including GST, VAT, or income tax, based on their jurisdiction.
  • Appointment as Limited Payment Collection Agent: Performer hereby appoints ARRIVE as Performer’s limited authorized payment collection agent solely for the purpose of accepting payments (via its Payment Services Provider, if applicable) from Client, and remitting those payments to Performer. Performer agrees that payment from Client to ARRIVE shall be considered the same as made directly to Performer. Client’s payment obligation to Performer will be satisfied upon receipt of payment by ARRIVE (or its Payment Services Provider, as applicable), and ARRIVE (via its Payment Services Provider, as applicable) is responsible for remitting the funds to the Performer in the manner described in these Payment Terms. In the event that ARRIVE (via Payment Services Provider) does not remit any such amounts to Performer, the Performer will have recourse only against ARRIVE and not the Client directly. Performer agrees that ARRIVE may describe or otherwise reflect the terms contained herein in any terms of service, receipts, disclosures, or notices including, but not limited to, receipts provided to Clients that ARRIVE may deem necessary or prudent.
  • ARRIVE partners with Payment Services Providers for purposes of collecting payments from Clients, transferring such payments from Clients to Performers, and holding funds until they are released or refunded. All payment services in connection with payouts on the ARRIVE platform are performed by ARRIVE’s Payment Services Providers.

2.2 Receiving Payouts

  • To receive payouts, you must connect a Stripe account through Stripe Connect. ARRIVE holds the funds for a booking with its Payment Services Provider until they are released to that account. All payment services, including payouts, are provided by ARRIVE’s Payment Services Provider.
  • Your ARRIVE profile can be connected to only one Stripe account for payouts, and a Stripe account can be connected to only one ARRIVE profile.
  • Funds for a booking are released to your connected Stripe account automatically 72 hours after the event, unless a dispute is opened within that period. When the money then reaches your bank is set by Stripe.
  • For security concerns, ARRIVE may temporarily hold a Performer’s payouts to prevent fraudulent or illicit activity. This may come as a result of security issues, improper behaviour reported by other users, or connecting multiple ARRIVE accounts to a single Stripe account.
  • Payouts are made only for funds that have been released to you.
  • Any fees for paying out from your Stripe account to your bank are set by Stripe.
  • Payouts are final and cannot be undone once the funds have been released to your Stripe account. Performers are paid out in the currency of the booking — US dollars, or Canadian dollars for a performer based in Canada (the country of their payout account, or of their profile before a payout account is connected). ARRIVE does not convert payouts. If your bank account is in another currency, your bank or payment provider may convert the amount.
  • If a Performer’s account is disabled, ARRIVE will pay out the funds owed to that Performer after a safety period of 30 days following full verification of ownership of the account in question, from the day of the last cleared payment received in their account and subject to ARRIVE's approval.

2.3 Payout Method

  • Stripe (Stripe Connect): Performer payouts are made to your connected Stripe account via Stripe Connect. Standard Stripe payout timing and any applicable Stripe fees may apply.

3. Purchasing

3.1 General

  • Clients pay ARRIVE when creating an Order from a Performer’s Gig Page or Custom Offer.
  • ARRIVE partners with Payment Services Providers for the purpose of collecting all payments from Clients, transferring such payments from Clients to Performers, and holding funds until they are released or refunded. All payment services in connection with the collection of funds on the ARRIVE platform are performed by ARRIVE’s Payment Services Providers.
  • ARRIVE serves as Performer’s limited authorized payment collection agent solely for the purpose of accepting payments (via its Payment Services Provider, if applicable) from Client, and remitting those payments to Performer. Client’s payment obligation to Performer will be satisfied upon receipt of payment by ARRIVE (or its Payment Services Provider, as applicable), and ARRIVE (via its Payment Service Provider, as applicable) is responsible for remitting the funds to the Performer in the manner described in these Payment Terms. In the event that ARRIVE (via Payment Services Provider) does not remit any such amounts to Performer, the Performer will have recourse only against ARRIVE and not the Client directly.
  • Accepted payment methods are card payments processed by Stripe and, where offered at checkout, PayPal.
  • A Client service fee applies to each booking, as set out in section 6.
  • You may not offer Performers to pay, or make payment using any method other than through the ARRIVE platform (www.arrivebooking.com). In case you have been asked to use an alternative payment method, please report it immediately to Customer Support here.
  • To protect against fraud, unauthorized transactions (such as money laundering), claims, or other liabilities, payment information in connection with payouts is collected by either ARRIVE or ARRIVE’s Payment Services Providers. Payment Services Providers may also collect such other information as necessary for the purpose of processing payouts. ARRIVE is not exposed to the payment information provided to Payment Services Providers, and this information is subject to the privacy policy applicable to the Payment Service Provider. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information here.
  • By using any payment method and/or providing payment details for making purchases on ARRIVE, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are legally authorized to provide such information; (b) you are legally authorized or have permission to make payments using the payment method(s); (c) if you are an employee or agent of a company or person that owns the payment method, you are authorized by that company or person to use the payment method to make payments on ARRIVE; and (d) such actions do not violate any applicable law.

3.2 Local Currencies

  • Each booking is in one currency: the currency of the performer's prices — US dollars, or Canadian dollars for a performer based in Canada. Canadian-dollar prices are shown with "CAD" after the amount. You are charged in the booking's currency, and the exact amount is shown on the payment page before you pay. ARRIVE does not convert it; if your card is in another currency, your card issuer may convert it at the time of charge.
  • Prices are shown in the performer's own currency and do not change with exchange rates. A booking in Canadian dollars is paid by card.
  • Refunds are made in the booking's currency, for the amount set by the cancellation policy, and are not converted by ARRIVE.
  • Amounts are always shown in their own currency. ARRIVE does not display converted amounts.

3.3 [Intentionally omitted]

3.4 Promo Codes

  • From time to time ARRIVE or a Performer may offer promo codes for discounts on Gigs. Promo codes are valid only for purchases on ARRIVE and may expire after a set term. To use a promo code, enter it on the checkout page before you pay; if you do not, your purchase will not be eligible for the discount. Only one promo code can be applied to a Booking, and it may not be combined with any other promotion. A promo code may carry its own conditions — for example, a usage limit or a limit of one use per user — which will be disclosed to you with the code. Promo codes may be voided in the event of fraud, misuse, or violation of the Terms of Service. ARRIVE reserves the right to modify or cancel promo codes at any time.

3.5 Payment Flexibility Options

  • PayPal Pay Later. Where eligible, Clients may select a PayPal Pay Later option at checkout. PayPal Pay Later is provided by PayPal; ARRIVE is not the lender. PayPal determines eligibility, plan options, and limits, which vary by country and booking amount. It is available to ARRIVE Clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
  • ARRIVE Flexible Payment Options. ARRIVE Flexible Payment Options is not currently offered.
  • Regardless of how a Client pays, ARRIVE receives the full booking amount up front and the booking is confirmed on payment. All ARRIVE terms apply unchanged, including the client service fee (non-refundable except as set out in section 6), the cancellation refund tiers, and release of funds to the Performer after the event. Any adjustment to a PayPal Pay Later plan following a refund is handled by PayPal under the Client's agreement with PayPal.
  • PayPal Pay Later is provided by PayPal, not by ARRIVE, and is subject to PayPal's application and approval. Availability, plan options, and limits vary by country, booking amount, and transaction type, and are determined by PayPal at checkout. Where offered, PayPal Pay in 4 is available to approved customers for eligible bookings (typically $30–$1,500 USD/CAD); you must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction to apply. PayPal is available for bookings in U.S. dollars; a booking in Canadian dollars is paid by card. Payments funded in another currency may be subject to conversion charges set by your provider. ARRIVE Flexible Payment Options is not currently offered. See PayPal's product terms and the ARRIVE Payment Terms for full details.

4. Taxes

  • ARRIVE may be required by applicable laws to charge users with indirect taxes (such as Sales Tax, VAT or GST) or to withhold taxes. Any amount ARRIVE will be required to collect will be in addition to the purchase amount and any other fees payable by the Client, and any amount ARRIVE will be required to withhold will be deducted from the Performer’s revenue, as required by applicable laws.
  • Where tax applies, it is shown before you pay.
  • Users are responsible for paying any direct or indirect taxes, including any GST, VAT, or income tax, which may apply to them depending on residency, location or otherwise, under provisions of their jurisdiction.

5. Subscriptions and Membership Plans

5.1 ARRIVE offers optional paid membership plans (currently "Pro" and "Featured," including any promotional "Founding Featured" tier) on a recurring subscription basis. Plans may be billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout, and automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled.

  • By starting a paid membership you authorize ARRIVE, through its payment processor, to charge your payment method the applicable subscription fee (plus any applicable taxes under Section 4) at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
  • The subscription fee in effect at the time you subscribe applies to your subscription for its current term. ARRIVE may change standard membership pricing from time to time; any change applies only to new subscriptions and to renewals occurring after the change, and never reduces a price you have already been billed for the current term.
  • Cancellation: you may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access to your plan's features until then. Except where required by law, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable and partial billing periods are not prorated.
  • Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, ARRIVE (through its payment processor) may retry the charge over a standard recovery period. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription may be canceled and the account downgraded to the free plan. Loss of a paid plan means loss of that plan's features, including any promotional pricing (see Section 5.2).
  • Plan changes: you may upgrade, downgrade, or change billing frequency. Changes take effect according to these Terms and may be prorated by the payment processor. Downgrading to a lower plan, or canceling, ends access to the higher plan's features and any pricing tied to it.

5.2 Founding Featured Promotional Pricing

  • "Founding Featured" is a limited-time promotional rate for the Featured membership, offered at ARRIVE's discretion and subject to availability. ARRIVE may end the Founding Featured offer, or limit the number of members who may obtain it, at any time. Ending the offer does not affect members already enrolled and continuously active.
  • Founding pricing remains in effect only while your subscription stays continuously active. If you cancel your subscription, allow it to lapse, or downgrade off the Featured plan, your Founding Featured pricing ends permanently. If you subscribe to Featured again later, the standard pricing and terms then in effect will apply.
  • Changing your billing frequency (for example, monthly to annual) while your Founding Featured subscription remains continuously active does not, by itself, end your Founding pricing.
  • Founding Featured pricing is personal to your continuously-active subscription and is not transferable.

6. ARRIVE Service Fee

  • ARRIVE charges the Client a service fee on each booking, calculated as a percentage of the booking total and displayed as a separate line item before payment and on the invoice. The service fee is in addition to the booking total paid to the Performer.
  • The service fee helps cover secure payment processing, platform operations, and support. It is separate from, and in addition to, any ARRIVE commission deducted from the Performer's payout.
  • The service fee is non-refundable when the Client cancels a booking or does not show, whatever part of the booking amount is refunded under the Cancellation Policy. It is refunded in full, together with the full booking amount, when the Performer cancels, when the Performer does not carry out the booking (after ARRIVE reviews the Client's report), or when ARRIVE cancels the booking on the Performer's behalf because the Performer cannot perform it. It is also refunded where the law requires it.
  • Applicable taxes may be charged on the service fee and will be reflected in the Total Amount Due.

7. Disputes and Cancellations

We encourage our Clients and Performers to try and settle conflicts amongst themselves. If for any reason this fails, or if you encounter non-permitted usage on the Site, users can contact ARRIVE's Customer Support department for assistance here.

7.1 Basics

  • Order cancellations can be performed from the booking on ARRIVE or through Customer Support.
  • Filing a transaction dispute or reversing a payment through your payment provider or your bank, after an Order is accepted and delivered, is a violation of these Payment Terms. Doing so may get your account temporarily or permanently disabled. Note: Once you have filed a dispute with your payment provider, the funds will be ineligible for a refund due to our obligations towards the payment provider.
  • In the event that you encounter an issue related to Services, you are encouraged to use the Site's dispute resolution tools to attempt to resolve the matter.
  • ARRIVE, through its Payment Services Provider, reserves the right to cancel Orders or place funds on hold for any suspected fraudulent transactions made on the Site.
  • If an Order is cancelled, any refund is made to the Client’s original payment method, in the amount set by the Cancellation Policy.
  • Requesting to gain more services from Performers beyond the agreed requirements of the service is not allowed.

7.2 Booking Cancellations by ARRIVE

  • ARRIVE encourages Clients and Performers to resolve concerns about a Booking with each other first, using ARRIVE Messages.
  • A Client or Performer who wants to cancel a Booking does so under the ARRIVE Cancellation Policy. This section covers when ARRIVE itself may cancel a Booking.
  • After review by our Customer Support team, ARRIVE may cancel a Booking for misconduct or for violations of our Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards, including, but not limited to, where:
  • a user harasses or abuses the other party, including threatening a low rating or a damaging review to obtain a lower price or services beyond what was agreed;
  • the Performer asks for additional payment, on or off the ARRIVE platform, as a condition of performing what was agreed;
  • a user supplies material that infringes copyright or trademark as part of the Booking;
  • the Performer is unresponsive about the Booking for more than 48 hours; or
  • a user is no longer an active ARRIVE user due to Terms of Service violations or the closure of their account.
  • A Booking is not canceled because of the quality of the performance where the service was performed as described on the Performer’s service page or as agreed between the Performer and the Client. The Client may rate the experience in a review.
  • Where ARRIVE cancels a Booking, any refund is made under the ARRIVE Cancellation Policy. Concerns raised after the Event go through ARRIVE’s dispute process; a dispute must be opened within 72 hours after the Event, before the funds are released to the Performer.

7.3 Chargebacks

ARRIVE reviews cases of payment provider chargebacks and disputes on behalf of Performers. Although results vary per case due to each chargeback reason, we work hard on resolving disputes in the Performer’s favor. If the chargeback case allows, ARRIVE (or one of ARRIVE’s Payment Services Providers) will return parts or full revenue back to Performers, otherwise the chargeback amount will be borne by the Performer.

7.4 Refunds

  • Refunds for canceled orders are made to the original payment method, in the booking's currency, for the amount set by the Cancellation Policy.

8. General Terms

8.1 Modifications

  • ARRIVE may make changes to these Payment Terms from time to time. When these changes are made, ARRIVE will make a new copy of the terms available on this page.
  • You understand and agree that if you use ARRIVE after the date on which the Payment Terms have changed, ARRIVE will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Payment Terms. If you do not agree to the changes of the Terms, you will have to deactivate your account.
  • ARRIVE may change these Terms due to changes in the Site and in the usual course of developing our product and services, changes in any relevant feature or functionality of the Site, changes in circumstances beyond our reasonable control, to adapt to new technologies, and to address changes in law and regulatory requirements as well as security and fraud issues.
