Once you've chosen a performer for a booking, you and the performer can message each other on ARRIVE. Open the booking and use the Messages with … tab — it carries the performer's name.
When it's open
- It opens when the performer is selected — while the booking is awaiting payment, and once it's confirmed.
- Before that there is no messaging. Questions before you choose someone go to support@arrivebooking.com.
- It stays open until 14 days after the event. If a dispute is open on the booking, it stays open past that.
- If the booking is cancelled, declined or refunded, the conversation becomes read-only: both of you keep the history.
Who sees it, and who is told
Every active member of your organization can read the conversation. When the performer writes, ARRIVE tells the member who created the booking, plus anyone on your team who has already written in it — by bell, and by email if their notification settings allow. If the member who created the booking has left your organization, your owners and admins are told instead, so a message never goes unseen.
ARRIVE Support can read the conversation.
Keep it on ARRIVE
A message with an email address, a phone number, a social handle or an off-platform payment is held back: the performer doesn't see it and isn't told. You'll see yours marked Hidden — contact details. Addresses, times, first names and load-in details are fine.
Messaging the performer you've booked is included for every organization, with or without a plan.
Not the same as your team's notes
On a booking with a performer conversation, the team's own tab is labelled Team notes. That one is internal to your organization and the performer never sees it — see Internal messages.
